Stranded on Vail Mountain is a well-written, gripping, fast-paced novella. I love short reads, especially those which grab the reader by the seat of the pants from the first line to the last - this one delivers! I've read this story twice and will read it again. This was my first read of this author's works. I look forward to reading much more from her. I don't write reviews often, but some stories are too good not to share.
I really enjoyed this book from cover to cover.
Great characters, beautiful scenery descriptions, action, natural dialogue, a rollercoaster of emotions, and twists and turns made for a great, quick read that felt more like a novel than a novella. I'm definitely looking forward to more from Desiree L. Scott!
I Loved this story... It is a really great short read and once I started it I couldn't stop.. the author gets your attention in the beginning of the story and keeps it until the end... Looking forward to reading more of her writing..
