Laramie has created a wonderful world to get lost in. I am writing one review for the whole series. I have been ill and am not up to doing it right.Heaven Hill Series is wonderful. Each of the characters is well rounded. The actual stories suck you in and make it hard to put down. You want to know more and more about them. The situations that they find themselves in are things that are well described.
I’m being vague on purpose. I don’t want to give away the yummy details. Read them find out for yourself what a special series this is. The book will stand-alone, but I highly recommend reading them in order.

If love is true and honesty prevails every thing is possible! Briscoe's 6th Heaven Hill
book certainly is a witness to that. She continues winding characters and situations within the MC. What unites them all is a sense of love, truth and respect for one another. I love that Ms. Briscoe is not intimidated to call out who is who regardless of their economic status. William, the father, a degenerate, Drew's coach,a drug pusher, Rooster's parents, unlocking and cold hearted. Then there's Bianca's pervert of a principal. Amazingly, a group of outlaws come to save the day! Funny how everything that shines is not gold...All these guys wearing the cut could teach lessons to a few! I love these books!
Love that we finally get to see the history of Roni & Rooster, and why there was the strain there with Liam & HH MC.
Now that Rooster is no longer a man of the law, he's going after what he has wanted since high school. It doesn't seem like that is a possibility given everything that has happened, and how guarded Roni is. She has been helping everyone else get their HEA, now she has the chance at hers; however, is it worth opening up old wounds.
Roni deciding to open up about her past demons and what William made her do, especially with the Dr there, was the best way to see if they can head back down that road again. Roni and Rooster get reacquainted; as well as, he works out the issues with Liam. Now, they just need to hold on for the ride.
I miss Sons of Anarchy...This series gives me the biker family fix that I miss from that T.V. show.
We finally get to see what's up with Rooster. He was always someone I was interested in from previous books.
And the same goes for Roni. She was sweet, strong and a tortured soul.
Rooster was a lot more warm and kind than I expected.
These two were so in love. It felt like teenage love all over again. I really enjoyed their story.
Big plus to this book was that there were hardly any typos and grammar errors. I don't consider the "southern slang" and spelling actual errors.

What can you say; the Heaven Hill series is awesome; I don't think Laramie Briscoe can write a bad book! This book focuses on Rooster, the former deputy sheriff who used to be Liam's best friend when they were kids and Roni, Liam's big sister. Rooster and Roni used to be an item when they were teens but then something bad happened to Roni, which tore apart the relationship between all three. This book focuses on the three of them trying to mend their relationships.
What I like about this series is even though some of the plot seems implausible (former sheriff hanging out with an MC club?), the characters are so well developed that you're willing to stretch the plausibility of the plot. I also like the way she weaves in characters from former books into the current story so you get to see how they're doing; my favorite couple is still Tyler and Meredith. As always, the love scenes are steamy but not over the top, and the author always does a good job with balancing romance, plot, and sex.
The next book is supposed to focus on Tyler and Meredith, and since they are my favorite couple, i can't wait!

Sharon “Roni” Walker has been well-versed in the Heaven Hill MC. First, her dad was the long-time president while her brother was the vice-president. After her dad went to jail, her brother Liam became the new president. While she has had the entire MC and their old ladies & kids as her family, her life has had an empty spot. She’s been missing a part of her soul…the one man she only ever loved, Rooster. It may have been 17 years ago, but she knows without a doubt that she may never love another like she loved him, ever again. Nor does she want to try for fear of putting herself out there again, and having it all ripped away from her.
Brandon “Rooster” Hancock was a rebel child and best friends with Liam. As teenagers, he and Roni had a fast and passionate love affair that they hid from her brother, her father and his parents. It may have been young love, but it was their one true love. When Roni had to protect herself and in doing so committed a crime, Rooster and Liam took the fall for her. Rooster went to a camp for wayward teens and Liam went to juvie. Roni suffered a great guilt for her actions, for many years. After their release, Rooster was straight-laced and became a sheriff and Liam went the way of the MC, which in all reality was almost his only choice.
But now, Rooster is hanging around the Heaven Hill MC, because that was the way that he’d always planned before getting in trouble & going the way of the lawman. He also wants to rekindle his relationship with Roni, now that he and Liam are good with each other, and he is making friends with all of the MC members & their families. But half the battle is convincing Roni to take the chance on him. But she is worried about secrets that lie in the past, and the possible effect that it could have on their future.
This book is more than just about Roni and Rooster rekindling their romance. There is a story line with Drew, Liam & Denise’s twin son; that intertwines with Rooster. There is also a side with Tyler & Meredith that will also be a topic in the next book. I’m not sure if the 7th book will be the final book & wrap up the story or if it will focus on a romance between 2 people.
